AidNews stores a mass of articles and blogposts, collected from hundreds of different sources using a series of tools I described on BlogTips.

While AidNews’ posts are automatically updated, I handselect and continuously curate the sources to keep the content relevant. This makes AidNews a unique aggregator.

Currently, we collect about 10,000 articles, per month. Each stored and indexed in a database, which can be used in different ways… So how can you access the information, and keep up to date, other than browsing the site?

1. Browse from your mobile

If you browse from your mobile, AidNews will automatically convert its layout so you can access the articles easier and faster from your phone or tablet.

2. Subscribe to the RSS feed and get updates via Email

The simpliest way to keep abreast of the latest articles published on AidNews, is to subscribe to our RSS feed. Or you can get the latest articles automatically delivered via Email, once a day.

3. Search the database

Use the search box in the side column, to query the database with all articles.

4. Create your own RSS for the topics of interest to you.

If you have topics of particular interest to you, then you can create an RSS feed for any topic and even get daily emails with the latest articles of that topic via our sister site, Humanitarian News.

5. Follow us on Twitter

We broadcast 8 updates per hour via @AidNews on Twitter. If these are too many tweets, then follow @AidNews2, which broadcasts at 2 tph (Tweets per Hour): Same content, less tweets.

6. Follow us on Facebook

You’re a Facebook addict? No problem, you can check our latest posts on our Facebook page.

7. Check the daily digest of our tweets

Every 24 hours, we publish a nicely formatted online digest of our Tweets. It is even available in different languages!
If you want this daily tweet-digest delivered by email, then click on “Subscribe” on top right corner of the digest.
